- שוֹרII (b. h. שֹׁר, שָׁרָר, שרר) chain, cord, esp. umbilical cord. Lev. R. s. 5 ואני חותכת את שוֹרְךָ and I shall cut thy umbilical cord (with which thou art attached to me); Yalk. Job 908 טבורך).
